Matthew is an actor originally from Northern California, but comes to Chicago by way of Portland, Oregon where he’s spent the last 7 years. Matthew holds a B.A in Theatre with a Minor in Music from Pacific University and has completed the Apprentice program at Actors Theatre of Louisville.

Favorite roles while in Portland include Epstein in Biloxi Blues, Dill in To Kill A Mockingbird, Matt in Forty Weight (a web series), Mssr. Glee in a A Lovely Day (a re-imagining of Michael de Ghelderode’s Pantegleize), and Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors.

Regionally, Matthew has been seen at Actors Theatre of Louisville in Two or a Carload, Cruising the Divide directed by Tamilla Woodard, Game On and This Beautiful City (with The Civilians) both at the Humana Festival. You may have also caught him on television as a Barista in TNT’s hit show Leverage.
